Early Access ReviewIt's as if 'Shadow of the Colossus' and the book 'The Wolves of Winter' by Tyrell Johnson had a baby.Most of the game is basically identical to SotC (which is not a problem at all if you ask me!!), but what's added makes it truly amazing. The open world encourages you to explore; the survival mechanics keep you on the edge of your seat at all times (especially when there's a storm in the middle of a fight!!!); and the way the story is told makes you always want to learn more and discover exactly what's going on, which in turn means to continue exploring and surviving.This game is an absolute work of art, and I can't recommend it highly enough. If you are doubting whether to puchase it or not, take my word for it and go right ahead. I promise that you won't regret it! Early Access ReviewI am in love with this game.Take the best bits of Shadow of the colossus, throw in a wonderful sprinkling of mechanics from Breath of the Wild, and set it all against a beautifully crafted backdrop that sits somewhere between norse mythology and fantasy, throw it all in a pot, and stir over medium heat for 12 minutes, and this is what you get. This game is beautiful.

Crimsonland 2003. And, with the recent lore update, significantly easier to follow, story wise, but you still have to go and find the story yourself. Also, there are certainly some areas that could use some polish, like for example, the climbing animation looks just a little bit unnatural, and I kept running into magical pink ghosts, and there are some spots where you can see untextured parts of the environment, or get stuck in the environment, but none of those can even come close to ruining the experience. This is a beautiful, amazing game, and I can't wait to see where it goes in the future.
